In our "Integration and Standardization" department, we are looking for you to help shape our current and future projects:
Become our new "Physical interface responsible (m/f/d)" for Airbus Helicopters Germany in Donauwörth!

What are your main tasks & accountabilities?
Within your perimeter you will be responsible for proposing and getting the physical interfaces convergence based on the best integration results taking into account all functional and physical constraints of all systems, industrialization constraints and maintainability.
You will be accountable for Integration maturity through physical interface management within the development milestones, respecting constraints coming from clearance, thermal environment, stress, materials, weight and balance and other engineering domains.
You will be supported by validation and verification tools for Physical Interfaces, and more importantly, you will have to use your facilitation and negotiation skills.

Required skills:
- You are able to use your communication and technical skills within a team and you can as well verify a detailed design solution for a system, equipment, component or module against the given requirements;
- For that you can analyze physical interface content with the available validation tools;
- Further you know the basic configuration methods and rules and know how they are linked with the other business processes. Moreover you realize that DMU is more than a collection of 3D data and you know and apply the relevant processes, methods and tools;
- You can create a preliminary multi-ATA study design in CATIA to propose an interface solution or integration solution to the affected engineering functions.
You have the following qualification:
- A degree (Master/Diploma) in engineering (or similar);
- Basic experience in System Integration in the Aerospace industry; or
- Good experience in System Integration in another field; or
- Good experience in detailed design and development of at least two different systems/ATA chapters; or
- Good experience in physical or similar interface document management;
- Knowledge of CATIA V5/VPM/Windchill;
- You are open-minded, have strong negotiation and communication skills;
- You like to work in an international context;
- You take the initiative to come to decisions and have a strong sense of responsibility;
- You are rigorous and you like to solve problems;
- You are fluent in English;
- Basic German or French language skills are a bonus but not mandatory.
