For the company Pipistrel Vertical Solutions d.o.o. we are looking for Avionics Systems Engineer to become part of the Pipistrel team. The R&D Electrical Department plays a key role in the realisation of electric air mobility projects. As an engineer, you will be involved in integration, testing and certification of electrical systems and avionics, preparation of plans, and in collaboration with the rest of departments. integration, testing and certification of electrical systems and avionics according to requirements.

What will your main scope be?

• Generating engineering documentation to develop and maintain type design data;
• Preparation of test plans, tests execution and compliance reports preparation;
• Collaboration with the rest of the departments and business partners;
• Attend external training and internal company training;
• Giving the highest priority to safety aspects in the performance of assigned tasks. Supporting safety investigations as assigned;
• Working constructively with colleagues in the department and/or other business units of the company;
• Suggesting improvements to processes, tools or any other relevant area in agreement with supervisor.

What do we expect from the candidate?

• Degree in Electrical or Aerospace Engineering (or equivalent);
• Experience with avionics systems is desirable;
• Good understanding in electrical engineering;
• Hands-on attitude;
• Fluent in both written and spoken English;
• Proactive, self-initiative and team-oriented candidate;
• Strong ability to think out of the box;
• Excellent problem solving, communication and collaboration skills.
