Background

The European Space Agency (Directorate of Technology, Engineering and Quality and Concurrent Design Facility) is organising the 11^th International Systems & Concurrent Engineering for Space Applications Conference on 25 - 27 September 2024.

Held on a biannual basis, the conference aims to foster networking and exchange of ideas, experiences, lessons learned and future trends in the area of Systems and Concurrent Engineering (SE&CE), for agencies, companies, organisations, universities and institutes involved in space and related activities.

Objectives

The SECESA conference aims to foster exchange of experiences, success stories, lessons learned and ideas about future trends in the area of Systems and Concurrent Engineering (SE&CE). Innovative approaches enabling and improving Systems and Concurrent Engineering methodologies, latest technologies and tools and relevant applications will be presented and discussed in a forum of delegates from agencies, companies, organisations, universities, and institutes involved in space and related activities.

The conference objectives are to:

• foster exchange of ideas, experiences, success stories and lessons learned in the areas of SE&CE;
• stimulate debate on challenges and future trends, in support to the preparation on R&D roadmaps in SE&CE;
• promote SE&CE education in academia.
