Programming of PLC and CNC controls with focus on 6-axis CNC KUKA robots (Siemens Sinumerik 850D and KUKA KRC4)
Creation and maintenance of standards in the area of electrical engineering/control technology in production
Definition of control algorithms
Development of hardware and software for control equipment as well as simulation of programming results for error-free programs and optimal processing times
Evaluation and analysis of performance and quality indicators in CNC programming and root cause analysis in case of errors
Networking of the equipment/controls with a host computer/MES system
Collaboration in the commissioning of machines and systems
Control and maintenance of existing control systems
Documentation of the work performed
What You’ll Need:
Completed studies with a focus on mechanical engineering/mechatronics/electronics/manufacturing engineering/alternatively completed vocational training with qualification as a technician in the field of electrical engineering or in the field of automation technology such as specialist (m/f/d) for control engineering
3+ years of professional experience in manufacturing engineering and at least 2-3 years of experience in CAD/CAM programming
Experience in the field of robotics (ideally KUKA)
Relevant knowledge in the field of CNC and PLC programming, as well as very good CAD skills desirable (CATIA and Siemens NX)
Good knowledge in project and process management and in the application of problem solving techniques
Routine use of common office software
