Drive gap closing between local and OMV standards and ensure safe unit operation by applying best Practice Process Safety procedures and methods;
Review operation of process units of OMV MEA refining (JV, ADNOC Refining and PARCO) sites from a hydrocarbon management and energy efficiency point of view and implements strategies to further improve jointly with other OMV functional centers;
Supervise and steer technical, technological and operational best-practices and benchmarks for the OMV MEA refinery production assets;
Support knowledge transfer of OMV best practices from a process technology and operations/maintenance point of view to OMV MEA refining JV assets and other OMV refining sites;
Actively join regular process- and process unit audits incl. Independent Gate Reviews ("IGR's") in all OMV refineries;
Steer and supervise a continuous operational improvement process with effective performance monitoring, test runs, development and recommendations of unit debottlenecking measures;
Implement Best Practice Front End Loading strategies in the OMV operated and OMV MEA JV assets;
Represent OMV Refining in international committees and speaks at conferences.

University Degree Master/Diploma in Chemical/Petroleum or Process Engineering or Applied Chemistry/Mathematics or Physics;
Minimum of 9 years relevant years of experience in process engineering and refinery technologies;
Advanced skills in refinery economics and optimization;
Experience in best practices performance indicators and international benchmarking studies;
Highly experienced with cooperating with interdisciplinary and intercultural teams and liaising with external and internal stakeholders;
Strong communication skills;
Fluent in English.
