As a team member of the Project Management Department, you will:
Initiate, moderate regular cost analysis meetings of the costs worldwide including checking whether the target values have been achieved in cooperation with controlling;
Identify, define and initiate cost reduction measures in the event of deviations in costs;
Control the timely implementation of component cost optimization measures in the plants through the local project managers;
Support of the Product Cost Optimization Team to generate and evaluate cost optimization measures for the product group in cooperation with the departments involved;
Regularly report the status of the measures for its products;
Participate in meetings as a representative of the Product Group;
Participate in quality reviews at product level, initiated and guided by QMP and SQM and take measures for the product group from this and implement them through a suitable structure;
Initiate, lead and document capacity review meetings for the responsible component based on capacity information from purchasing (external tools) and operations (subassemby lines, internal tools);
Derive from the capacity meetings measures (if necessary CCB) for its products to ensure capacity;
Coordinate and forward capacity information to sales/project managers of D2/D3 projects, target costing (for PCIS calculation) and other departments.
What will you need to succeed:
Business understanding - advanced level;
Project management, change management and quality - expert level;
Good technical background;
University degree in engineering/Project Management/similar discipline or related business experience;
2+ years experience in automotive or similar business;
2+ years in Project Management in automotive or similar business;
Experienced in leading teams;
Experienced team player in international project teams;
