Join the Electrical Power & Lighting Systems (ETYPE) department as System Design Responsible within Airbus Helicopters at the Marignane site.
The Electrical Power & Lighting Systems department is looking for an experienced technician or engineer profile with good skills in the design, integration or testing of Electro-mechanical systems in order to strengthen the team in charge of Electrical Actuators and Ice protection solutions for vertical take-off and landing vehicles in Marignane, on legacy fleet as well as on new developed Helicopter versions.
The Electrical Power & Lighting Systems department is part of the Airbus Helicopters central design office and hosts a transnational team of approximately 30 engineers at the Marignane and Donauwoerth sites.
The mission of the System Design Responsible is to define, develop, qualify/certify and support new systems or equipment and their modifications for the entire Airbus Helicopter fleet, as well as for new Air Mobility projects, based on the latest electro-mechanical and power electronics technologies.
Thus, when you accept this challenge, you will be in charge of the design of electro-mechanical systems or equipment or their modification in collaboration with other departments, you will have to manage a supplier relationship from the specification to the final industrialization of the parts, you will have to provide proof of demonstration and support for the certification process, you will define and participate in tests either in Laboratories or on Helicopters and you will have to support our Assembly lines and our customers by taking charge of troubleshooting activities or by defining maintenance/inspection operations.
In addition, you will be able to participate in research or innovation activities as well as help the department to improve its skills/experience on existing or new technologies.
