DUTIES:
- Multi-domain simulation of the fluid-mechanical behavior of diesel injection systems for large engines;
- Development simulation models using Simcenter Amesim (Siemens PLM) software platform;
- Performing hydraulic and mechatronic calculations for the overall injection system;
- Help optimize manufacturing test benches using statistical methods, as DoE or Response Surfaces;
- Evaluate design alternatives and selecting optimum solution;
- Help develop systems simulation models for P2X alternative “green” fuels;
- Communicate with Design, Test and Manufacturing Departments as a member of an international project team.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Engineering degree, preferred Faculty of Mechanical Engineering;
- At least 4 years of professional work experience;
- Good knowledge of 1D hydraulic or mechatronic control system simulation;
- Knowledge in relevant simulation software, as Amesim, GT or similar hydraulic net tools;
- Knowledge in statistical analysis or DOE methods;
- Knowledge of engine technology would be an advantage;
- Good knowledge of English.
