He/she defines the architecture and functionalities of a TC&IS subsystem (PACIS, CCTV, Multimedia, Event recorder, Train Ground Communication, ATC/Safety equipment) in compliance with the different requirements;
He/she ensures the integration into the train;
Ensure SMARTSys or Supplier follow up;
Perform control engineering activities for one or several functions from architecture to detailed specification, interface and Pure Principle Scheme or Logical Diagram LD3.
Delivering the subsystem documentation (Requirement Specification and Architecture Description RSAD, Technical Purchase Specification TPS, Interface Control Document ICD).
Defining and implementing the functional, performance, transverse and train level requirements of the dedicated subsystem;
Integrating the subsystem into the train (mechanically and electrically);
Defining the Interface (mechanical and electrical) for the dedicated subsystem;
For its function formulating a Low voltage and SW control design solution that fulfils the specified customer;
Deliver all TC & IS Engineering outputs including Functional Design Description FDD with man machine interfaces, Electrical Schemes and Electrical Products definition (with the support of Electrical Lead Engineer), in compliance with the Engineering Quality Cost Delay commitments;
Deliver Interface Control Document (ICD) for sub system participating in its function;
Verifying of the subsystem (focus on train level) including design reviews;
Change and configuration management process for the subsystem on train level;
Control of changes after design changes including impact analysis;
Planning and follow up of all activities linked to the subsystem;
