The Lead Development is overall responsible for the execution of wind projects and development opportunities across the region covering Italy and the Mediterranean region in general.
Main Metric for the Role
Monitoring the Development Partner, engagement , involvement in the negotiation and management of contracts with local providers/subcontractors and implementation of related business ethic screening.
Knowledge of the permitting process, hands-on experience with offtake sourcing and Gov Entities involved in the authorization process
Control and Monitor the progress of activities and expenses of the SPV for each dev task to be completed in line with time schedule and dev ex budget ;
Participate actively into the meeting with Gov institution (e.g Region, Terna , GSE, Municipality) when requested
Coordinate or direct development, energy assessment, engineering, or construction activities to ensure that wind project needs and goals are met.
Coordination with lawyers, notary and technical consultant for lands lease for the subscriptions of lands lease agreement with landowners in line with dev x budget and expropriation process
Keep the overview when coordinating multiple tasks simultaneously and coordinating complex, cross functional teams
Lead or support negotiations involving inland use, interconnection agreements etc.
Create wind energy project plans, including project scope, goals, tasks, resources, schedules, costs, contingencies, or other project information.
Supervise the work of subcontractors or consultants to ensure quality and conformance to specifications or budgets.
Support origination mainly in Italy and the Med countries when required
Technology Skill and Experience
Experience from 5 to 10ys with technical background
Business or engineering education (i.e Electrical, Mechanical , Infrastructure, Management )
Electronic mail software and Spreadsheet (Microsoft), Enterprise resource planning (ERP software, SAP ), Project management tool (e.g Primavera ), ability with Financial tools
Administration and Management - Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources..
English must be mastered fluently, both orally and in writing. Other languages (e.g Spanish or French etc.) are an absolute advantage.
Building and Construction - Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the construction or repair of houses, buildings, or other structures such as highways and roads.
Engineering and Technology - Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology. This includes applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design and production of various goods and services..
Economics and Accounting - Knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices, the financial markets, banking and the analysis and reporting of financial data.
