Do you have experience with equipment and tooling design, and would you like to use your expertise to build up a new team from scratch? Do you have an improvement-oriented mindset combined with excellent stakeholder management skills?

Tasks & responsibilities: You will…

…be responsible for developing new equipment and tooling solutions for the Global Supply Chain Management organisation (GSCM). As a part of the Supply Chain Engineering Assembly (Nacelle, Hub, Power Conversion Module), you will identify potential improvement areas and needs for new tools and equipment along the value chain in GSCM, but also in interfacing organisations.

The requirement specification will be used to have the equipment or tool designed by an external supplier. As the first employee and manager of this team, you will also be responsible for recruiting the team while handling operational tasks until the team members are on board.

You will also be responsible for:

  • Identify and initiate design for new equipment and tools;
  • Development and delivery of business case for new/improved tooling;
  • Identify engineering changes for tools;
  • Provide input in tools manufacturing tasks during the Engineering Change Management (ECM) process;
  • Proactively drive tools and equipment optimisation based on information from relevant parties working with the tools;
  • Provide input together with factory PE to financial controller to ensure that the need for site specific tools is budgeted;
  • Run and evaluate trials and prepare the appropriate technical reports to enable Factory Acceptance Test (FAT), Site Acceptance Test (SAT) and Taking over Certificate (ToC).

Skills & experience: Our new colleague…

…has good understanding of business processes and project management as well as basic understanding of supply chain management. You have at least 5 years of experience within management, as well as equipment or tools design combined with a technical education on bachelor’s level. It is important that you can keep the overview and prioritise your tasks, navigating easily in a varied and dynamic working environment. As a person, you are proactive and result-oriented, and you have a structured and systematic approach to your tasks.

We expect that you:

  • Thrive in a role where you will take on responsibility and use your communication skills;
  • Have excellent team working skills;
  • Have good people and relationship-building skills;
  • Have a solution-focused attitude;
  • Have experience with CE markings (preferred, not required);
  • Have good English skills.
