This role is a global design engineering role where the scope of the team includes mechanical sub-systems and components for GE offshore wind turbines.
The purpose of the job will cover from conceptual design and functional specification to testing, validation of the different mechanical systems of GE offshore wind turbines.
In this role, you will deliver engineering designs/requirements, execute business critical New Product Introductions, drive cost competitiveness, and ensure world class subsystem performance of the biggest offshore Wind Turbine up to date. You will work together with Supply Chain, EHS, Operations relevant stakeholders among others, to deliver the best solution from a whole value chain perspective.
Rear frame block for Haliade-X includes rear frame structure, covers, generator cooling, electrical cabinets, cable routings, sensors, helihoist, internals, air conditioning etc related to the scope of components and sub-systems within Machine head.
Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering or related discipline or equivalent knowledge or experience. Preferably mechanical. Strongt echnology and/or product management experience. Significant experience in mechanical design internal components and/or mechanical components system integration. Working Knowledge of CAD/CAE, DFMEA toolsFluent in English (spoken and written)EU
