How you will CELLebrate

  • Collaborate with materials suppliers to develop next generation materials for high energy LiB products;
  • Work on sourcing low-cost cathode, anode, separator and electrolyte for cost optimization;
  • Evaluate, screen and implement materials for cell product development;
  • Resolve issues related to materials used for current/next generation products;
  • Validate materials to meet battery specifications and support technically to qualify materials suppliers/sources;
  • Disciplinary and professional management of the technology team;
  • Design and structure of the organization;
  • Definition and implementation of internal and external work processes;
  • Define, edit & control subprojects in the field of SolidState Battery technology;
  • Structuring of collaboration with cooperation partners in the environment of SolidState battery against the background of an ever-changing Technology and market environment;
  • Scouting and benchmarking of future technologies (product and production process) in the ASSB environment;
  • Development / identification of potentials for the improvement of product and process properties;
  • Management of sub-projects regarding industrialization approaches (product and process);
  • Assumption of technical responsibility to ensure the individual objectives in the course of the project;
  • Creation and presentation of technical decision presentations in relevant committees and circles.

What you need for our CELLebration

  • Completed studies in materials science, chemistry or comparable qualification;
  • 10+ years of leading materials (cathode, anode, separator and electrolyte) development for cell projects in leading LiB manufacturers;
  • Deep understanding from materials development, cost structure, scale up and production processes (PPAP);
  • Extensive experience working with materials vendors;
  • Interpretation skill from materials properties to cell level performances;
  • Need experience in adopting materials development to series cell developments (such as A, B samples for OEMs);
  • Strong ability to work in a team and a high degree of initiative;
  • Skills in communication and collaboration with business partners in English;
  • Must have experience as a manager.

What else can you bring

  • Professional experience in the field of batteries, battery cells or automotive industry;
  • Willingness to travel internationally.
