Your role:

• Secure that detailed program and project plans are developed and executed for all approved and prioritized key innovation programs, innovation projects and business support initiatives;
• Accountable that all innovation projects are executed generating maximal value for OMV in accordance with the required safety and quality standards, timing and cost estimates by proper preparation and follow-up;
• Ensuring that the highest possible standards of program and project management are applied to the projects utilizing the OMVs project policy directive for Project Management Minimum Standard and continuous improvement of related processes;
• Enabling that program and project management knowledge and best practices are shared and employed amongst the project managers;
• You secure proper documentation of reports and contribute to organizational learning;
• A balanced portfolio of innovation projects considering the risk/reward of long-, mid- and short-term investments for consideration at the appropriate decision making forums;
• You ensure that business has approved all critical milestones on a regular basis and the portfolio is external audit proof to defend the intangible assets on the OMV balance sheet according IAS 38 accounting requirements;
• Responsible that the Innovation process is fully effective and leading edge in the industry and that the innovation projects are run according the procedure and are in compliance with all other quality requirements;
• You track induvial projects regarding their overall portfolio status and performance, develop debottlenecking approaches and deliver and report against agreed KPI’s.

Your profile:

• You have a Master Degree in Chemical or Chemical Engineering;
• At least 15 years of relevant professional experience, especially in project/programme managemnt;
• Excellent leadership skills;
• Balancing short-term and long-term gains to create long term benefit for customer and Borealis;
• Strong conceptual thinking and process orientation;
• You have an innovation delivery focus as well as a positive attitude to new business opportunities;
• You inspire and motivate others in cross-functional teams;
• Very good English language skills.
