• DCUBED is pioneering the future of In-Space Manufacturing, we are building an innovative space crew;
• We are seeking an individual to design the flight electronics and control software to support us In-Space Manufacturing (ISM) team with the development of custom electronics for the flight hardware;
• You will be responsible for the development of software to monitor and control flight hardware operations;
• We require the engineer to design and build the electrical support equipment;
• You will be instrumental in supporting the AIT of our Electrical products including Product QA support;
• We will also provide you with opportunities to explore our Robotic Applications of DCUBED's ISM portfolio.

HERE IS WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

Your Background:

• BS in Electrical/Electronics Engineering + 3 years relevant experience; or
• MS in Electrical/Electronics Engineering + 1 year of relevant experience;
• Experience with PCB design and assembly;
• Microcontroller programming in C/C++;
• Circuit design of control hardware (motor/actuator control, sensor readout, real-time camera data, logging);
• Software design for control hardware and interfacing to launch providers via protocols;
• Solar array power interface design;
• Experience with programming in Python;
• Fluent in English.

Nice to have requirements:

• Proven record of electronics development for space applications;
• Experience with the development of robotic arms;
• Development of GUIs.
