Position Summary

In this position, you would be a key member of the core Manufacturing Engineering Team, with responsibility for installing and maintain production vision test systems.

Your Role

• Development of Vision test software (SPI, AOI, AVI, X-RAY Systems, Cognex);
• Order, build up and debug Vision Systems;
• Use statistical Analysis Methods (6-Sigma, MSA, Cpk…) to optimize performance of parametric vision tests;
• Work together with the manufacturing development team on test software, hardware, and application specific tooling for assigned product programs;
• Work out proper documentation of the assigned test process, respecting the APTIV processes and procedures accordingly;
• Continuous improvement on the test systems deployed on production (hardware and software);
• Operator/maintenance training.

Your Background

Mandatory:

• Bachelor/Master degree in Electronics Engineering, or similar;
• Good knowledge of Vision and/or electronics technologies;
• Good knowledge of written and spoken English;
• Good problem solving capability;
• Energetic, self-motivated, resilient and proactive work style.

Nice to have:

• Experience on similar function;
• Knowledge of IPC-A-610 standard/Automotive industry;
• General knowledge of Infotainment products (Receivers and Displays);
• Good knowledge in programming Languages: MS Visual Basic, C, C#, C++, MS SQL;
• Resident in Braga region.
