WHAT AWAITS YOU AT MYNARIC

  • Provide hands on DFx exposure to engineering teams through the full lifecycle of the product, with a diligent eye to continuous process improvement;
  • Work closely with test/automation and process engineering ensuring equipment capability of line matches product plan;
  • Be part of critical design reviews and enable manufacturing readiness prior to final hand off to production for product ramp;
  • Design manufacturing fixturing, tooling and harnessing for PCBAs to enable batch processing and optimal process cycle times;
  • Develop work instructions and product documentation at the speed of our rapidly evolving product portfolio;
  • Leverage your analytical skills to deep dive failure modes and determine true root cause, enabling an agile design cadence.

WHAT YOU BRING WITH YOU

  • x+ years of experience of working in a fast paced Manufacturing Environment with an engineering degree in electrical, mechanical, aerospace or other relevant engineering field (Internal Note: job level depends on years of experience);
  • Experience designing manufacturing processes through the application of Lean Manufacturing, Failure Mode Effects Analysis, Statistical Process Control and Resource Planning principles;
  • Knowledge of DFx and its application to electronic assemblies through the full product life cycle including manufacturability, testability, reliability, etc.;
  • Familiarity with SMT Line processes including conformal coating, stencil printing, reflow, selective solder or an enthusiasm to learn them;
  • Exposure to PCB and PCBA manufacturing and test principles;
  • Drive to bring change to our products and processes through a data driven approach to problem solving and a collaborative work ethic;
  • Proven experience of working with 3D Design Software for jigs and fixture design (NX, Catia, SolidWorks) and knowledge on GD&T;
  • Familiarity with EDA Software’s like Altium (preferred), Eagle, etc.;
  • Hands on troubleshooting experience bringing up next generation electronics using various instrumentation for PCBAs testing (oscilloscopes, multi-meters, signal generator, etc.).

Nice to Haves:

  • Soldering experience or soldering certifications (IPC-610, JTSD-001, etc.);
  • Experience with Manufacturing Systems such as ERP, PLM, MES, etc. and being able to query data for optimization and root cause analysis;
  • Knowledge of Product Qualification to aerospace standards such as SMC-S-016, ECSS.
