What You ‘ll Be Doing:

• Capture technical requirements and derive technical specifications for baseband physical layer functionality.
• Participate in System Design and System Architecture tasks.
• Participate in Physical Layer modeling, prototyping and design verification testing, with emphasis on baseband algorithmic implementation and assessment.
• Perform bit accurate modelling and generate implementation architectures for the target device.
• Implement algorithms in System on Chips (SoCs) and/or in processors, following established workflows.
• Participate in Design Verification testing activities in the lab and in field trials.
• Prepare appropriate documentation as required.

Qualifications & Experience

Required:

• M.Sc. in Electronics/Electrical/Telecommunications Engineering or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution, with justifiable knowledge on digital wireless communications theory and applications.
• Established knowledge in Digital Signal Processing and/or Baseband Modem algorithms and structures.
• Experience with Software Defined Radio architectures and platforms.
• Experience in C/C++ programming for embedded applications.

Desired:

• Established bit accurate modelling methodology for algorithmic signal processing blocks.
• Experience in hardware-software co-development for algorithms and protocols development.
• Experience with embedded development environment such as Xilinx SDK/VITIS or Texas Instruments Code Composer Studio.
• Experience in embedded development tools (e.g. JTAG emulators, logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, etc.).
