Your tasks:

• Lead cross-functional development of mechanical wind turbine drivetrain components using a systems thinking approach to align engineering, technical, design, and supplier activities for optimal results;
• Be the main technical link: Take full ownership of coordinating between main bearing suppliers and the turbine drivetrain team from technical reviews to testing and serial release;
• From concept to completion: Proactively identify and resolve technical or quality challenges for continuous improvement and timely deliverables;
• Manage and oversee the review process of bearing design requirements, calculations, and validation strategies, ensuring compliance with specifications, industry standards, and long-term reliability targets;
• Maintain clear technical and project transparency through detailed documentation, technical reports, progress updates, and final project assessments;
• Collaborate across international, cross-functional engineering teams to continuously improve main bearing solutions with measurable impact on performance, reliability, and lifecycle cost;
• Monitor and analyse market trends and technological developments in the field to drive innovation.

Your profile:

• You have a degree in mechanical engineering or a related field combined with at least 5 years of proven technical expertise of main bearings and their integration in wind turbine drivetrains;
• Equipped with several years of experiences in project and supplier management (proficient in relevant tools, software and platforms);
• Motivated and experienced in managing technical projects and connecting disciplines, using a systems-thinking approach to turn ideas into real solutions;
• Critical thinker with a proactive mindset and willingness to challenge the status quo to drive improvement;
• Able to thrive in dynamic settings while keeping priorities clear;
• Confident, self-motivated, and communicative team player, able to work independently and collaborate effectively;
• Capable to interact in English and enjoy working with international colleagues and suppliers to achieve shared goals.
