Senior Process Engineer

Execute process engineering activities in support of Terminal operations
Work closely and build relationships with the Engineering and Operations Teams
Supervise and check work of the wider Process Team as appropriate
Ensure that design methods, standards and data used conform with Client's requirements and / or those issued by Wood
Ensure a high standard of safety is achieved and Environmental and Quality Assurance procedures are followed
Perform safety related calculations and provide input to HAZOP, SIL and other safety reviews as directed
Custodian of the plant computer-based models, including HYSYS models and pipeline composition tracker.
Carry out simulations to investigate operational issues, plant optimisation and new business evaluation
Responsible for implementing Process Safety and Risk Management processes including KPIs and monthly reporting
Follow Management of Change process, supporting and owning modifications as appropriate
Lead or support technical and incident investigations as appropriate
Review and update Engineering Procedures as required
Prepare and check process calculations in accordance with Wood procedures
Contribute where necessary to review of supplier quotations
Participate in technical meetings and handle discussions with the client as required
Review operating procedures and P&IDs
Deputising for Process TA.

Chemical Engineering Degree
Chartered Chemical Engineer status (or working towards)
Experience providing process engineering support to operations within the Oil & Gas or petrochemicals sectors
Proven core Process Engineering skills, including design experience
Experience in process safety and risk management would be advantageous
A self-motivated, proactive individual with high achievement drive and initiative, excellent verbal and written communication skills and good organisational awareness
Ability to impact and influence fellow workers
Demonstration of customer focus and ability to respond to customer needs whilst achieving operational and corporate objectives
Display analytical and problem-solving skills to understand operational issues
