As our new Capability Manager, Domestic Cold Water, you will be leading and developing the technical capabilities within the Domestic Cold Water (DCW) business unit, ensuring your teams have the skills, tools, and competencies to deliver innovative pump solutions that serve millions of people worldwide. What you will be doing
As a key part of the DCW Engineering team, you'll create impact by building and nurturing the technical talent and capabilities that enable Grundfos to deliver reliable, energy-efficient water solutions to homes around the globe.
Your main responsibilities include:
Define and execute the capability development strategy for the DCW engineering organization, aligning with business priorities and technology roadmaps
Lead and develop a team of engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and technical excellence
Identify current and future skill gaps and implement targeted development programs to close them
Collaborate with product management, R&D, and other capability managers to ensure resource allocation and competency planning meet project demands
Drive standardization of engineering methods, tools, and best practices across the DCW portfolio
Partner with HR and talent acquisition to attract, retain, and grow top engineering talent

Above all, you are a people-oriented engineering leader with a strong technical foundation, proven experience in capability building, and a genuine passion for developing teams that deliver results.
We would also imagine that you have:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline
7+ years of experience in engineering or product development, with at least 3 years in a people leadership or capability management role
Demonstrated track record of building technical competencies and driving organizational development within an engineering context
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence across functions and seniority levels
It is a plus if you also:
Experience within the pump industry, HVAC, or related water technology sectors
Familiarity with agile or lean product development methodologies
Experience managing geographically distributed engineering teams
