Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of automotive products from concept to production;
• Translate customer requirements into effective, manufacturable design solutions;
• Assess design feasibility and coordinate design activities with internal teams and external suppliers;
• Act as the main technical interface between customers, suppliers, CAD teams, and project stakeholders;
• Drive design reviews, monitor action plans, and ensure on-time delivery of engineering milestones;
• Collaborate with Project Engineering Managers to identify and implement optimal technical solutions;
• Define and maintain product geometry, reference systems, and key design parameters;
• Support tooling development by defining critical tuning and adjustment areas;
• Review and technically validate drawings, assemblies, and engineering documentation;
• Define and perform actions for part shape adaptation to achieve functional and geometrical target fulfillment during pre-production phase;
• Capture lessons learned and promote best practices throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements:

• University degree in Mechanical, Automotive, or Engineering field;
• Minimum 3 years of experience in design of injection-molded plastic parts;
• Proven ability to lead product design activities and CAD engineers;
• Strong knowledge of design-for-manufacturing principles;
• Experience in automotive product development environments;
• High level of technical proactivity and problem-solving skills;
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities;
• Willingness to travel as required;
• Driving license B;
• Fluent English (B2 level or higher).
