Mechanical Engineer

DIS/CREADIS

Kolding, Denmark

Do you enjoy solving technical challenges and developing mechanical solutions that create value for customers? Are you motivated by working on a variety of engineering projects and collaborating closely with different customers throughout the development process?

At DIS/CREADIS, we are looking for a Mechanical Engineer with 3–5 years of experience to join our office in Kolding. As a consultant, you will work on development projects for some of Denmark's and the world's leading industrial companies, helping customers transform ideas into robust and innovative mechanical solutions.

About the Role

As our new Mechanical Engineer, you will work as a consultant on development projects across a wide range of industries. Depending on the assignment, you will either work from our office in Kolding or on site with customers, always backed by the knowledge and support of your colleagues at DIS/CREADIS.

You will be involved in projects ranging from product development and special purpose machinery to process equipment and structural design. Depending on the project, you may take technical responsibility for your own work packages, contribute to larger development projects, or support customers with specialist mechanical engineering expertise.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Mechanical design and product development;
  • Design of special purpose machinery and industrial equipment;
  • 3D CAD modelling and technical documentation;
  • Concept development, detailed design, and design reviews;
  • Prototype development, testing, and validation;
  • Close collaboration with customers and multidisciplinary engineering teams;
  • Supporting projects from concept through implementation.

Your Profile

We imagine that you:

  • Hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline and have 3–5 years of experience within mechanical design and product development;
  • Enjoy working as a consultant, take ownership of your projects, and build strong relationships with customers and colleagues;
  • Have experience with one or more 3D CAD systems such as SolidWorks, Inventor, Creo, or Siemens NX, along with a solid understanding of manufacturing methods and mechanical design principles;
  • Bring experience from one or more areas such as special purpose machinery, process equipment, product or device development, structural design, or FEM calculations;
  • Work independently while recognising that the best solutions are created through collaboration, and communicate confidently in English. Danish is an advantage but not a requirement;
  • Experience with CE marking, the Machinery Directive, FMEA, or tolerance calculations is considered an advantage.
