Job Summary

As Senior Project Manager - Grid you’ll focus on grid services within EMEA, leading all aspects of medium to large projects with multiple clients, managing and leading teams of multi-discipline professionals and coordinating the activities of all third-party companies contributing to the project delivery.

This role can be based at our offices in London (preferred) or Glasgow city centres in the United Kingdom. We work hybrid, 3 days per in the office and 2 days from home.

Some travel throughout the EMEA region to project/client sites and BV offices will be required.

Key Responsibilities

You’ll be accountable for:

Managing risks related to cost, schedule, and quality throughout the full project lifecycle;
Ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, safety standards, and client satisfaction;
Overseeing the day-to-day execution of projects, including financial metrics, planning, scheduling, and staffing;
Coordinating technical requirements relating to grid and substation projects;
Obtaining new/repeat business and supporting contract negotiations.

Management Responsibilities

Acts as a project manager. Among responsibilities is management of a project team. The individual comprising this team may vary by project.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience;
Significant experience in grid and/or substation projects within the UK and wider EMEA region;
Proven background or managing and leading teams of multi-discipline professionals;
Experienced in coordinating the activities of all third-party companies contributing to the project delivery.
