The CS Application Engineer is responsible to identify CS business opportunities and partner with the SPS sales team with customers under his/her responsibilities to pursue and win new businesses to enable strong growth over market.

Along the OEM customer scope, the Application Engineer will take the expertise lead over of CS product range towards our local customers and act as Aptiv´s voice at the customer.

Responsibilities:

• Lead customer liasion activities within CS product range to identify business opportunities and provide first line of customer service and support for CS portfolio.
• Act as the primary technical interface for OEMs, as well as Tier 1 customers, providing high-quality support including on-site engagement when required.
• Drive continuous growth in CPV (Content Per Vehicle) through strategic product positioning and customer engagement.
• Act as voice of the customer in Aptiv´s orgnization to ensure customer requirements are addressed and made aware in Aptiv´s organization.
• Introduce new product solutions at customers requiring new developments, adaptation or simple proliferation of existing products.
• Develop and maintain OEM roadmaps across all APTIV product lines, ensuring alignment with market needs and growth priorities.
• Develop in-depth knowledge of OEM architectures and projects to effectively support customer needs and anticipate technical trends.
• Align with OEM strategy to proactively anticipate market evolution and sales opportunities.
• Support OEMs and Tier 1 customers during SOP and ramp-up phases to ensure smooth industrialization and product adoption.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
• Very good command of English
• Minimum 5 years of specific product experience in an Engineering/Sales/Product Line capacity in an Automotive Components Supplier
