About the role

As a Development Engineer, you will develop and optimize process steps in a cleanroom environment. This includes thin film deposition, patterning, etching, bonding, and layer characterization. You will integrate these steps into full device fabrication flows, monitoring critical parameters for yield and performance. Your hands-on work in the lab will execute processing runs with accuracy, repeatability, and proper documentation.

Key responsibilities

  • Translate device and material concepts into experimental process flows.
  • Develop and optimize process steps in the cleanroom environment.
  • Integrate process steps into full device fabrication flows.
  • Execute processing runs in the lab, ensuring accuracy and repeatability.
  • Report progress, results, and issues clearly to project leaders and peers.

What we're looking for

We seek a talented engineer with a strong background in cleanroom processing.

  • Master's degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Nanotechnology, or related field.
  • 3 to 6 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Hands-on experience with thin film deposition, photolithography, etching, bonding, or microfabrication.
  • Good understanding of microfabrication principles.
  • Highly organized, results-driven, and able to adhere to project schedules.
  • Strong team player with the initiative to solve problems independently.
  • Mandatory cleanroom experience.
