About the Role

You will own the product integrity roadmap for a TEKEVER platform, combining Team Leader accountability with reliability, safety and airworthiness expertise. You will define and prioritize the backlog for quality and compliance including PLM responsibilities and technical writing. Ensure our products meet not only internal requirements but also certification standards and military airworthiness specifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and prioritize the Product Integrity backlog across multiple areas of responsibility.
  • Define safety requirements and acceptance criteria for our UAS platform throughout the product lifecycle
  • Work closely with the Airworthiness team on compliance initiatives, making sure these are translated into Agile actions within the product team
  • Establish and maintain the safety management system and safety assessment processes
  • Interface with national and European aviation authorities and military certification bodies
  • Coordinate with systems architects, systems engineers, reliability engineers, PLM specialists, continuous improvement, compliance, and technical writers within the product team
  • Translate regulatory requirements into actionable engineering work items
  • Support continuous improvement efforts within the product team
  • Report safety metrics, certification progress, and risk posture to leadership

Requirements

  • 5+ years in aviation/aerospace safety engineering or airworthiness, ideally in unmanned systems
  • Experience as product owner, product manager, or program lead in a certified aerospace environment
  • Familiarity with military airworthiness standards
  • Working knowledge of safety assessment methodologies
  • Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools and configuration management
  • Agile/Scrum experience (you'll work alongside a Scrum Master)
  • Fluent English; Portuguese is a strong plus

Nice to Have

  • Deep knowledge of EASA regulations for UAS (including the EU drone regulatory framework, specific category, and certified category)
  • Experience at a EASA-certified drone or UAS manufacturer
  • Background in civil or defense UAS programs
  • Knowledge of quality management systems
