Industrial Engineering Manager - Radar Technical Product Line

For Valeo RAK 2, Radar Technical Product Line, we are looking for Industrial Engineering Manager who will be in charge of developing and deploying best practices and Group standards across the production sites in different geographies.

YOUR CHALLENGES:

• Is responsible and manages the industrial footprint of his perimeter (adaptation to market, make or buy)
• Defines the program allocation to plants
• Optimizes the industrial investments of his perimeter (Cost, compliance with standards), challenging all industrial IARs
• Is responsible of the make or buy decision with the support of Purchasing
• Is accountable for the TRS of his perimeter
• Leads the industrial network of his perimeter (industrialization, production and logistics)
• Animates the Expertise Centres of its perimeter
• Coordinates the interfaces between its perimeter and the other Expertise Centres
• Contributes to the PDT for identification of new process needs
• Is responsible for all the industrial aspects of the MTP for its perimeter: from data collection till consistency & full adherence to PG strategy
• Is functionally responsible for P2 project Industrial Team Members
• Validates industrialization projects (with the help of experts)
• Participates to the P2 PVC & PMC
• Defines the process standards for its perimeter and ensure their deployment
• Promotes lean investment approach through Lean Process Design promotion; ensure that the equipment acquisition flows are respected
• Defines the rules for equipment and tools standardization within its perimeter and considers the differences between HCC and LCC
• Contributes with Purchasing and Experts to the selection of equipments and tools suppliers
• Is responsible for the KPI (TRP, DLE, RPI, DL cost, TRS, Inventory, Overhead, Quality, Safety) within the Product Group
• Challenges the sites regarding the methodologies to apply to reach these targets and improve: ERIM, DL management
• Ensures that sites’ budget are consistent, in terms or KPIs’ targets, but also staffing (Production, Supply Chain, Maintenance, Methods…) and consistent with the Group Industrial, VPS & SC priorities, act and react
• Promotes and ensure prompt and efficient Valeo Factory Of the Near Future Tools
• Contributes to the development and update of Group standards, by leading or participating to workshops
• Manages the capacity of its perimeter, for instance with the use of the Critical Capacity Tool
• Ensures safety & ergonomics aspects are taken into account in equipment design

LET´S TALK ABOUT YOU:

• University degree in Engineer in electronic product engineering or a related field
• Min. 5 years proven experience in Production/manufacturing engineering management (electronics, sensor, or radar manufacturing processes is an advantage)
• Experience in automotive field
• Strong leadership skills, ability to coordinate and drive functionally industrial teams across production sites
• Good interpersonal and communication skills. Diplomatic & persuasive
• Good presentation, planning & prioritizing skills
• Fluent written and spoken English
• Willingness for traveling
