Develops and supports electrical designs for harnesses, firmware, and test systems, considering cost, mass, integration, and manufacturability.
Collaborates with cross-functional teams and specialists to ensure alignment of electrical designs with system and project requirements.
Applies core electrical engineering knowledge, including EMC, harness routing, mechanical integration, and space application standards, using CAD tools for design and component selection.
Defines, performs, and supports electrical testing and validation activities, including test hardware design, drawing reviews, and requirement traceability.
Translates system requirements into electrical subsystem specifications and prepares compliance matrices and verification documentation.
Participates in technical reviews, supplier interactions, and audits, contributing to design validation and compliance assessments.
Supports production and quality processes, including non-conformance resolution, root cause analysis, First Article Inspection (FAI), and operator guidance.
Maintains and communicates technical documentation and project status, ensuring traceability and clear reporting to stakeholders.
Contributes to requirement management, risk identification, task tracking, and budget awareness, escalating issues as needed.
Applies structured problem-solving and critical thinking to make informed technical decisions balancing performance, cost, and schedule.
Supports bidding, proposals, and engineering change processes (ECP/CCN), while contributing to product development, continuous improvement, and team knowledge sharing.
Your story
Must’s:
B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Aerospace, electrical or other engineering, or equivalent experience.
3+ years of electrical engineering experience in aerospace or equivalent industry.
Proven experience in electrical design and Harness/Routing. Experience in Altium Designer and/or other PCB layout generation tools (for circuit design, PCB design).
Ability to work independently on moderately complex tasks.
Nice to have’s:
Experience in the space industry, with electrical componentes.
Experience with microelectronics, programming of microprocessors and in Labview.
Familiarity with Teamcenter or similar PLM systems.
