Hardware Electronics Designer Aerospace and Defence

What you will do:
Detailed design of HW-Electronics (functions or boards) for space and defence applications;
Preparation of design related analysis and simulations (performance, FMEA, Parts stress);
Preparation of test plans/procedures;
Characterization and testing of the different designs;
Support to requirement analysis activities: requirements assessment, criticality, complexity, cost-driving analysis, requirements flow-down…;
Documentation of the proposed design (design definition files);
Support to other project involved areas as Project Management, thermal & structural engineering, V&V engineering, PCB layout and design, manufacturing and integration…;
Participation in the company know-how evolution of the involved discipline;
Contribution to design improvements (functions, tools, user information…).
What we expect from you:
Engineering Degree;
High level of English;
Proven experience in developing electronics (analog, power, digital, RF…);
Highly desirable: experience in RF and High data rate boards design;
Skills in the use of electronic design related tools: schematics capture, analysis and simulation…;
Knowledge and practice on other related areas (programming in Python, C, C++…, VHDL knowledge, basic notions of Matlab, basic notions of thermal concepts..);
Desirable: familiar with defence or space usual development standards and normative;
Willingness and readiness for digital/connected industry: data analytics, processes automatization, cross-collaboration tools, Model-based engineering…;
A person driven towards a traceable and rigorous job;
Focused on team working: cooperative and generous spirit, empathic;
Good communication, reporting and documentation skills;
Autonomous and proactive attitude with capabilities for the troubleshooting and diagnosis;
Interest for other related areas: communications, Navigation and Control, SW…;
