Manufacturing Engineer (Capacity Planning & Quotation)

In this role, you will be responsible for preparing technical manufacturing cost calculations for customer RFQs and capacity planning. You will work mainly with SMT/PCBA/assembly products. You will be collaborating with cross function teams e.g. Sales, Engineering, and Manufacturing.

Responsibilities:

Analyze customer RFQ/RnD packages (requirements, drawings, standards, volumes).
Evaluate project feasibility (according to VDA 6.3).
Collaborate with Sales, Process Engineering, Production, R&D, Technology, Packaging, and other internal teams.
Prepare manufacturing cost calculations: cycle times, equipment/tooling costs, headcount.
Create documentation required for sales quotations.
Support Sales during technical discussions with customers and propose alternative solutions.
Perform short- and long-term capacity calculations for SMT and final assembly lines.

Requirements:

Engineering/Master’s degree in a technical field
Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, Automotive preferred.
Practical experience with SMT line equipment will be an added value (laser, solder paste printing, inspection, pick & place, reflow, AOI).
Very good MS Office skills.
Basic knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.
Basic AutoCAD skills.
Good command of English.
Strong planning, organization, time management, and goal-oriented approach.
Ability to share and transfer knowledge.
