System Test Engineer

Are you passionate about automotive innovation and ensuring the highest quality standards in system development? Valeo is looking for a detail-oriented SYSTEM TEST ENGINEER to join our team and play a key role in the validation of cutting-edge automotive systems.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Test Execution & Analysis:

Perform and evaluate test steps defined in test specifications.
Conduct measurements and investigations for system, system integration, and experimental tests.
Analyze results, prepare comprehensive reports, and communicate findings to stakeholders.
Master and apply the use of advanced test equipment.

Compliance & Quality:

Strictly adhere to project timelines and schedules.
Ensure all tests and measurements comply with customer requirements, product specifications, and industry standards.
Identify deviations from specifications, propose solutions, and actively participate in the correction process.

System Testing activities:

Analyze system test requirements in collaboration with the R&D team, considering both customer and internal Valeo standards.
Update and maintain system and system integration test specifications.
Write and maintain test scripts to automate test cases

Traceability:

Ensure full traceability across reports, tests, specifications, and requirements.
Create detailed bug reports for identified deviations and support the implementation of corrective measures.

Configuration & Asset management:

Develop and execute configuration management plans to track development states using appropriate tools.
Maintain accurate records of test equipment and assets.
