Robotics Engineer

In this role you will
- Design and develop robotic software systems for perception, localization, planning, and control.
- Build and maintain ROS 2-based architectures, including nodes, lifecycle management, and distributed communication across robotic subsystems.
- Develop and integrate multi-sensor pipelines (cameras, LiDAR, IMU, GPS, radar) for real-world autonomy.
- Implement state estimation, sensor fusion, and motion planning algorithms.
- Design system-level architectures for modular, scalable robotic platforms.
- Work with simulation environments (e.g., Gazebo, Isaac Sim) for development, testing, and validation.
- Conduct hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) and field testing to validate robotic behaviors in real environments.
- Collaborate with embedded, hardware, and backend teams to deliver end-to-end robotic capabilities.
Must have experience
- Degree in robotics, computer science, engineering, or related field.
- Experience in robotics and autonomous systems development.
- Practical experience deploying robotic systems in real-world environments, iterating and improving them.
- Strong understanding of robotics frameworks like ROS 2, including node architecture, DDS configuration, and system integration
- Proficiency in C++ and Python for robotics software development.
- Experience with robotics simulation tools (Gazebo, Isaac Sim, or similar).
- Hands-on experience with robotics platforms (e.g., Industrial or AMRs).
- Strong understanding of robot kinematics, dynamics, and control systems.
- Experience with build systems and CI/CD pipelines for validating robotics software.
- Experience integrating and validating hardware peripherals and sensors at driver level.
- Experience with perception and sensor fusion pipelines.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with AI/ML for perception (e.g., object detection, tracking).
- Background in multi-robot systems or distributed autonomy.
- Contributions to ROS packages or open-source robotics frameworks.
