YOUR TASKS:

• Lead technical projects with the focus on the legacy AW fleet;
• Monitor and analyse the operational performance of the wind turbines;
• Investigate reliability metrics and field data to identify risks and improvement potential for the entire turbine system;
• Perform and develop root cause analyses for mechanical failures and deviations;
• Support the mechanical design, including DFMEA, technical specifications, and validations;
• Contribute to supplier qualification and technical assessments for all manufacturers.

YOUR PROFILE:

• Master’s degree in mechanical engineering or a comparable engineering discipline, or equivalent;
• At least 10+ years of professional experience in the wind turbine industry with a focus on mechanics;
• Solid understanding of entire turbine, reliability engineering, and mechanical analysis methods;
• Strong focus on the legacy technology AW1500/AW3000;
• Knowledge of quality assurance and problem-solving methodologies is an advantage;
• Experience working in international, cross-functional engineering teams with clear communication skills;
• Fluent English required, Spanish skills considered a plus;
• Willingness to travel occasionally and able to manage technical topics in parallel with an analytical approach.
