Module Team Leader

As a Module Team Leader, you will drive module strategy, lead engineering teams, and secure alignment with Module, Architecture, Platform, and Product Line objectives. You’ll oversee development of components, assemblies, and variants - ensuring quality, cost, and timing targets are met - while supporting lifecycle maintenance, CAE, and material strategy. You will also partner closely with Product Care, Procurement, Quality, and Manufacturing to deliver reliable, competitive, and standardized technical solutions.
What you'll do:
- Lead an R&D team responsible for developing components, assemblies, variants, and documentation (3D/2D, CSS, AAR, DG, CP…).
- Manage CAE & Materials activities (FEM, CFD, process analysis, materials/technology selection).
- Ensure strong collaboration across R&D, Product Line, Design, Quality, Procurement, Manufacturing Engineering, and external suppliers.
- Drive Module, CAE, and Materials roadmaps; support Architecture and Platform roadmaps.
- Contribute to timing definition, DFMEA, DFMA, PSRA, DVT, MVT, and project deliverables.
- Ensure module solutions meet functional, reliability, manufacturability, and compliance requirements.
- Support cost‑reduction, quality improvements, competitor benchmarking, and new technology introduction.
- Enable CAE software adoption and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure regional and platform needs are embedded into module development.

Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience, including leadership of cross‑functional engineering projects; R&D team management is a plus.
- MSc in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Strong background in product development, technology introduction, and gated project processes.
- Experience leading in matrix organizations across regions/functions.
- Skilled in coaching, mentoring, and developing engineering teams.
- Strong innovation mindset (simulation, automation, digitalization, AI trends).
- High consumer focus and ability to translate insights into technical solutions.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.
