Responsibilities

  • Design and prototype UAV platforms and military-grade gimbal systems, ensuring durability, precision, and integration of all components;
  • Conduct testing, including stress and failure analysis, to validate designs and ensure performance in extreme environments;
  • Oversee the manufacturing process by collaborating with suppliers and external manufacturers to meet quality and timeline standards;
  • Lead the transition from prototyping to mass production, refining designs for production efficiency and scalability;
  • Work closely with R&D teams (electrical, software, and industrialization engineers) to integrate mechanical systems seamlessly into UAVs;
  • Maintain detailed documentation of designs, test results, and production workflows to support continuous improvement and team knowledge sharing.

Candidate Requirements

  • Education: Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field;
  • Proven experience in designing and prototyping mechanical systems, ideally for UAVs or military-grade applications;
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, including plastics and precision design;
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks) and structural analysis;
  • Strong understanding of material science and designing for challenging environments;
  • Bonus: Experience in mass production, UAVs, or defense technology;
  • Communication & Influence: Excellent written and verbal communication, capable of leading diverse principals – from junior members to senior executives;
