Laboratory Engineer

What you’ll do
- Validate product specifications and conduct testing on:
- Thermal safety;
- Energy consumption;
- Cooking performance;
- Noise level, EMC, and environmental impact (where applicable);
- Component reliability and lifetime;
- Material performance (e.g. surface cleanability).
- Support platform and technology teams in validation activities;
- Propose improvements to product design and testing methods;
- Maintain testing equipment in line with ISO9001 standards;
- Align test methodologies with global R&D teams and external labs;
- Participate in concept development, FMEA, and project teams;
- Support the introduction of new models into production.
Who you are
- A problem-solver with hands-on experience in testing and evaluation;
- Familiar with product development processes and authority approvals (e.g. EN, IEC, UL, CCC);
- Skilled in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, including modifications and fault finding;
- Proficient in testing methodologies (DoE, statistical analysis, CFD, Weibull);
- Comfortable working with electric/electronic systems in a lab environment;
- Strong in technical writing and fluent in English (written and spoken);
- A team player who thrives in a global, matrix organization;
- Open to travel and working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Relevant degree in Engineering or related field;
- Experience in a testing laboratory or R&D environment;
- Strong computer skills (MS Office, MS Project);
- Knowledge of IQ & EMS systems is a plus.
