As a Technical Project Manager at Capgemini Engineering, you will spearhead complex engineering initiatives with particular emphasis on defense sector projects. You'll orchestrate cross-functional teams to deliver successful outcomes while upholding quality standards and exceeding client expectations.

In this role you will play a key role in

• Orchestrating the strategy, organization, and execution of engineering ventures encompassing hardware, software, and integrated system components;
• Cultivating and directing multidisciplinary engineering groups, including systems specialists, embedded software developers, and quality assurance professionals;
• Spotting and addressing technical challenges throughout the project journey while ensuring timely completion within financial parameters;
• Spearheading process enhancement initiatives by implementing and customizing methodologies like Agile or V-model for defense-related projects;
• Establishing and monitoring project timelines, key achievements, and expected outcomes in alignment with contractual obligations.

Your Profile

• Advanced degree in Engineering (Master's level);
• At least 5 years of experience leading technical projects or providing technical direction within high-tech engineering organizations in sectors such as aerospace, defense, automotive, embedded systems, or similar mission-critical industries;
• Comprehensive understanding of systems engineering principles: Model Based Design Engineering (MBSE), complex embedded hardware/software applications, product development cycles, and verification/validation procedures;
• Exceptional project governance capabilities: managing scope, engaging stakeholders, allocating resources, and handling risks while collaborating effectively in diverse team environments;
• Skilled in utilizing project management applications (such as MS Project, Jira, PowerBI, Polarion, Capella, Windchill);
• Achievement-focused, budget-conscious with a proactive mindset and innovative problem-solving approach;
• Track record of coordinating with diverse technical teams on sophisticated projects in highly regulated sectors;
• Strong interpersonal abilities with capacity to guide with authenticity and effectively engage various stakeholders;
• Background in aviation, space, defense or automotive fields, along with familiarity of industry standards like DO-178, ARP4754 or ISO26262 would be advantageous.
