Job Mission

As Head of Hardware, you'll lead Tibber’s hardware efforts, encompassing our Pulse and Homevolt products as well as future products. You will manage the full product lifecycle, from initial concept to successful production, guiding a talented team of hardware and firmware engineers to shape the future of our innovative, connected energy products.

What you'll do

• Lead, mentor, and foster the growth of the hardware and firmware engineering team;
• Take full ownership of the lifecycle for Tibber’s entire hardware portfolio, ensuring cohesive development;
• Thoughtfully define and drive the overarching hardware strategy and comprehensive roadmap;
• Manage key relationships with suppliers and manufacturing partners, while expertly navigating and securing necessary product certifications (such as CE, FCC, etc.);
• Champion product quality, cost-efficiency, and unwavering reliability across all hardware initiatives;
• Collaborate fluidly and creatively with Product, Design, and Software teams to deliver delightful and intuitive user experiences.

We're seeking a visionary and hands-on leader that is driven by impact and knows how to turn strategy into execution. You're used to fast-paced environments and thrive when given clear goals and high accountability. We believe you have:

• Proven experience leading hardware development for consumer (B2C) products, bringing them successfully to market;
• A valuable background in the energy, smart home, or connected devices sectors;
• A clear and comprehensive understanding of production processes, supply chain dynamics, and product certification procedures;
• A creative and collaborative approach to problem solving, with a genuine interest in building and nurturing high performing teams.
