Senior Airworthiness Engineer

The Senior Airworthiness Engineer oversees, develops, and coordinates all technical services projects, with a special focus on determining airworthiness and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and purchase/redelivery conditions during aircraft deliveries, lease returns, and repositioning projects.
Main responsibilities
- Lead the execution of assigned technical services projects
- Maintain clear, consistent, and professional communication with clients
- Ensure compliance with technical services processes and procedures, holding the unit accountable for adherence
- Perform physical inspection to determine assets' physical condition and compliance with agreed legal conditions
- Collaborate with the Technical Services Manager to drive the strategic growth of the unit
- Assess new service requests and business opportunities, oversee the initiation of new services
- Advise on manpower and resource planning of the department
Main Requirements
- University/aeronautical degree of aviation education
- 3-5 years of experience within aviation, preferably with Western-built commercial aircraft
- Great project and team management skills, including communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven competence in workload management, workforce coordination, and resource planning
- Proven ability to manage communication with civil aviation authorities
- Knowledge of EASA Part- CAMO, Part-M, and industry best practices for airworthiness
- Experience with multiple aviation regulations (EASA, FAA, 2-REG etc.)
- Ability to understand, interpret, and apply regulatory requirements at the workplace
- Experience with IMS like OASES, AMOS, GANNET is beneficial
- Ability to travel on short notice (mainly within EU)
