Main responsibilities

• Participation in R+D projects
• Analysis of internal processes and improvement
• Analysis of manufacturer's documentation
• Prototype assessment, preparation, instrumentation and test, both at IDIADA HQ and in other locations worldwide
• Analysis of test results
• Homologation reports
• Manage the whole approval process including multidisciplinary teams
• Meetings with manufacturers and approval authorities

Qualifications

Education:

• Different Engineering education will be valued: Industrial/ Mechanical/Telecommunications/Electronics/Computer Science/Aeronautical (MSc valued)
• Other engineering degrees or specialities (e.g. Physics, Mathematics) will be also considered.

Experience:

• Experience in automotive engineering valuable.
• Experience in quality systems valuable.
• Experience in Project Management valuable.
• Knowledge or experience in quality control, regulation or standards.
• Knowledge or experience in measuring systems, procedures and equipment.
• Knowledge in new automotive technologies related to General Safety Regulation 2: intelligent vehicle safety and dynamic systems

Languages:

• High level of English (other languages valued, French, Italian, German,...).
