E/E System Engineer Defence

Your Responsibilities
- You lead technical projects related to electrical and electronic systems (E/E) and software within Defence programs;
- You drive continuous improvement and ensure smooth collaboration with internal and external partners;
- You develop system roadmaps based on component and function breakdowns, aligned with engine and machine architecture;
- You act as the interface for control systems deliverables between Liebherr Project Managers and customers;
- You represent control systems in project and customer meetings, reporting to both project and line management;
- You coordinate and manage ECU adaptations based on Defence project requirements;
- You oversee Defence-specific electronic and hardware adaptations;
- You support the FRACAS process for issue resolution and improvement;
- You serve as a stakeholder for Defence-specific HW/SW architecture and align with vehicle manufacturers/integrators;
- You act as a stakeholder for Defence-specific E/E components.
Your Profile
- You hold a degree in Electrical Engineering, Embedded Software Development, or a similar qualification;
- You have several years of experience in control systems project management within the automotive or off-road industry;
- You possess very good knowledge of engine development processes and embedded software and hardware development;
- You bring project management training or certification, with advanced skills in MS Project;
- You demonstrate strong communication and negotiation skills with a confident leadership presence;
- You have an analytical and solution-oriented mindset with flexibility and openness to change;
- You are fluent in English, and additional languages are an asset.
