Scope of duties:

• Calculating workforce requirements for the new Body Shop, Paint Shop and Assembly. Determining necessary number of production Employees based on production processes and production plans.
• Close collaboration with process and equipment Planners and other VAN Plants to analyze and optimize production processes for the workforce utilization
• Close collaboration with R&D for the optimized product development to assure effective utilization of the processes and workforce
• Proposing and managing projects aimed at optimizing headcount without compromising quality and safety. Developing and calculating business cases for processes automation and improvements
• Conducting studies to analyze work activities, measure task times and identify potentials for improvements. Optimizing the distribution of tasks among workstations to ensure a smoot flow of production, minimize idle time and improve throughput
• Introducing and maintaining KPIs to measure production processes efficiency in relation to workforce utilization, productivity, quality (HPV, OEE, FTQ, etc.)
• Utilize company’s digital planning systems, plan and improve methods of tools utilization
• Data collection, structurization and reporting within Engineering and to Plant Management

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering or above
• Several years of professional experience in production environment
• Experience in similar position or process and production planning will be an advantage
• Knowledge on production planning processes and systems will be an advantage
• Ability to think and act analytically and strategically, with a focus on achieving results and meeting targets
• Ability to work as part of an international team and engage in interdisciplinary collaboration in addition to excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to think and act like an entrepreneur as well as openness to change processes
• Good MS office skills and solid experience in presentations on management level
• Good communication skills, also in English, with external and internal parties (ability to speak German as advantage)
