PCB Layout Design Engineer

As a PCB Layout Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing complex printed circuit boards (PCBs) ranging from 10 to 12 layers, used in critical defense applications. You will work closely with circuit designers to optimize performance, power consumption, and space constraints. This role requires advanced technical expertise and full autonomy, with no ramp-up period possible.
Responsibilities
- Design layouts of complex printed circuit assemblies and detailed parts of devices, mechanisms, and structures;
- Check PCB layouts and drawings for clarity, completeness, and conformity to standards and specifications;
- Collaborate with circuit designers to meet performance and area improvement targets;
- Ensure layout development and validation (DRC, LVS, DFM, EM, IR);
- Deliver high-quality full-custom layouts for analog and digital PCBs;
- Perform according to project planning, provide feedback to the project leader, and organize tasks autonomously.
Your Profile
- Engineering degree in electronics or equivalent field;
- Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in PCB layout design;
- Expertise in full custom layout design;
- Strong understanding of analog HF/RF circuits;
- Familiarity with fabrication techniques and limitations;
- Proficiency with layout software (e.g., Cadence or equivalent);
- Knowledge of EMI/EMC constraints;
- Autonomy, rigor, and sense of responsibility;
- Team spirit, listening and communication skills.
