ADI - Analog Devices
Limerick, Ireland
ADI’s Aerospace and Defense group designs RF solutions ranging from 1GHz up to 70GHz for commercial, military, and space applications. The solution is based on System in Package (SiP) technology which integrates various RF signal chain architectures for Phased Array Radar applications, SatCom applications and Navigation applications.
Analog Devices is seeking to hire a design evaluation engineer to support the product development of RF SiP solutions. This exciting role will offer the opportunity to work with and learn from some of the industry’s leading RF professionals. The design evaluation engineer will get the opportunity to learn from and collaborate with other engineering disciplines such as assembly engineering, test engineering, RF circuit design engineering, reliability engineering, manufacturing engineering and business management.
The evaluation engineer will work closely with the RF design team to evaluate, characterize, and debug highly integrated RF SiP signal chains. The evaluation engineer will be responsible for the creation of a detailed characterization plan, measurement data formatting and synthesis.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Ability to independently evaluate, characterize, troubleshoot, and perform complex rework of RF/Microwave modules and SiP components;
- Collaborate with lead RF designers and mechanical engineers in recommending design and process improvements;
