ACCIONA is seeking to hire an Engineering Manager for an important project in the Netherlands, within the Industrial business unit.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of the Project’s engineering area, managing its constraints while ensuring compliance with the Client’s specifications and requirements. This position reports functionally to the Project Director and hierarchically to the T&D Manager;
• Prepare the engineering development schedule for the Project, indicating the start dates of the various activities involved, their duration, participants, and interdependencies;
• Coordinate the technical, management, and validation work of the Engineering area, with the aim of keeping the Project within the established deadlines and ensuring the required technical standards, while safeguarding design quality and compliance with contractual conditions;
• Oversee communications with the Client and between the different subcontractors, avoiding omissions, repetitions, or misinterpretations of the design;
• Provide support and assistance to the Project Management team.

Additional Job Description

• Degree in Engineering;
• Approximately 10 years of experience in Project Coordination and Management within T&D (Transmission & Distribution) projects. We are aware this is an ambitious profile, but we are looking for candidates who can deliver the results we aim for;
• Experience in similar projects in the Netherlands will be especially valued;
• Experience in V&V (Verification and Validation) processes of requirements will be an asset;
• High level of English (C1). Knowledge of Dutch and Spanish will be an advantage;
• Availability to travel.
