Responsibilities:

• Develop and design enclosures for stand-alone applications as well as rack systems;
• Design and optimize cooling systems, including heat sink design, air-flow routing in close collaboration with the power electronics development team;
• Integrate mechanical components into overall product concepts to ensure optimum functionality and reliability;
• Create 3D models, technical drawings, and Bills of Materials;
• Perform simulations and prototype testing to validate designs;
• Work closely with the electronics and mechanical development as well as production teams to resolve practical implementation issues;
• Continuously improving existing products in terms of efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and innovation.

Your Profile:

• Master Engineer or equivalent by experience;
• Several years of professional experience in mechanical development, ideally in the field of power electronics or power supplies;
• Solid knowledge of CAD systems, especially SolidWorks and PDM;
• Experience in the design and optimization of enclosures and cooling systems is a plus;
• Analytical and solution-oriented mindset with strong team spirit;
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
