What You’ll Be Doing

  • P&ID: Create and maintain process and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) for machinery and plant systems, ensuring clarity and alignment with process requirements;
  • System: Support the design and layout of machinery such as heat pumps, chemical reactors, and auxiliary systems, focusing on functionality, safety, and maintainability;
  • Schematic development: Design, create, and maintain detailed technical drawings and schematics for all plant systems using computer-aided design (CAD);
  • Documentation and compliance: Ensure all design documents and schematics are accurate, up-to-date, and comply with all relevant industry standards and regulations;
  • Lead system integration and product portfolio consolidation to deliver efficient, customer-focused solutions; develop prototypes, subsystems, and modules by translating application needs into technical requirements and supporting validation and testing;
  • Apply expertise in pipe and flange standards (ANSI, DIN, ISO) and advanced 3D tools — including AutoCAD Plant 3D, SolidWorks (routing), and Revit BIM — for system modeling, collision analysis, virtual assembly, and optimization of cost, efficiency, and operation; BIM and hydronic balancing knowledge are advantageous.

What We're Looking For

We are seeking a self-motivated and System engineer who can foster growth and innovation, possess a creative mindset, and has a structured and execution-oriented approach.

To be considered for this position, you should hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Plant engineering, Energy Engineering or a similar field, coupled with a minimum of 5 years of experience in System Engineering or System Design with solid hands-on skills and a commercial focus. You should have knowledge and experience in design, development, simulation, digitization, and validation of Thermal Management, Cooling, and Heating Systems.

Experience working in a matrix environment is beneficial, and you should also have a proven history of collaboration with external partners and off-shoring of design and development activities.

Other requirements include Fluency in English. Proficient design skills in CAD systems and PDMs. Able to structure and organize work efficiently and effectively. Strong analytical skills, hands-on mentality. Creativity and the ability to work independently. Structured problem-solving and decision-making ability. Experience with the design, simulation, verification, and validation of system solutions is considered a plus.
