We are looking to expand our feature owner team, which is responsible for the system design, development and customer delivery of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and Autonomous Driving features. The team holds complete responsibility for driving, parking, and in-cabin capabilities, which directly influences how customers interact with and experience Aptiv's ADAS products.

Your role:

  • End-to-end responsibility for one or more functions for advanced driver assistance systems.
  • Prioritization, planning and tracking of the necessary activities with the objective to meet the project goals with regards to project timing, costs and quality
  • Close customer contact and coordination of the functions in collaboration with our clients.
  • Drive, direct and prioritize cross-functional team including algo, testing, systems and tools.
  • Support and review test plan for owned feature(s) incl. proof of completeness (considering data collection, resim, logging/debugging and tooling/equipment availability)
  • Execute/supervise feature calibration and tuning; responsible to give final feature approval.
  • Responsible for leading customer change request reviews and assessments for the owned feature(s).
  • Working closely with project management to report status of the feature(s) from feature definition to SOP including requirements, implementation, testing, risk management, open issues and KPIs.
  • Responsibility for compliance with ASPICE by applying APTIV processes and methods at the system level.
  • Definition of the vehicle system features & functions and responsibility for consistent documentation of these.
  • Working in an agile environment

Your background:

  • University/college degree in engineering sciences or comparable knowledge and skills acquired through professional experience and further education
  • Knowledge about the development of advanced driver assistance systems
  • Experience (>5years) with ADAS feature development
  • Experience with development reference models and methodologies like ASPICE or Agil
  • Business fluent English, spoken and written
  • High analytical thinking ability
  • Very good organizational and management skills (R)Very good communication and motivation skills
  • Reliability, commitment and dedication, initiative, flexibility, ability to work in a team
  • Driver’s license
  • Professional experience in using requirements management tools such as Polarion and IBM
  • Doors is an advantage
  • Familiar with the functional safety process (ISO 26262) and its methods
  • Basic knowledge of the communication protocols used in the automotive sector (CAN, CAN FD, Ethernet, etc.)
