We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineering Manager – Electronics to lead the engineering team responsible for the industrialization and continuous improvement of our electronic manufacturing processes. The successful candidate will drive the introduction of new products, ensure process stability, and maintain compliance with the highest aerospace and defense industry standards.

  • Lead and manage a team of Manufacturing Engineers specializing in SMT, PCB assembly, and electronics test.
  • Establish, optimize, and sustain manufacturing processes for high-reliability electronics (SMT, THT, conformal coating, assembly, functional test).
  • Drive New Product Introduction (NPI) from design to production readiness, ensuring full DFM/DFA integration.
  • Oversee the selection, qualification, and maintenance of production equipment and test systems.
  • Define and implement process capability studies, PFMEAs, and control plans to ensure long-term stability.
  • Develop automation and digitalization strategies to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Own technical root cause analysis for yield, quality, and reliability issues, ensuring permanent corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with IPC standards (IPC-A-610, IPC J-STD-001) and aerospace regulations.
  • Partner with Production, Quality, and Supply Chain to resolve complex technical issues and support ramp-up.
  • Report and track KPIs for yield, throughput, scrap, OEE, and engineering change implementation.
  • Act as technical authority for electronics manufacturing within the organization.

What you bring with you

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Manufacturing Engineering, or related discipline.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in electronics manufacturing (SMT, PCB assembly, and test).
  • Minimum 2 years of proven leadership/people management experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of electronics manufacturing standards (IPC, JEDEC, aerospace standards).
  • Strong background in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, SPC, and process industrialization.
  • Experience with PCBA assembly and test systems, including inline inspections.
  • Strong leadership, mentoring, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Fluency in English; German is a strong advantage.
